How the price is calculated

Do both layers need the same track?

Not necessarily. The sheer layer is light and can run on a lighter profile, while the blackout or main layer needs a sturdier aluminium profile with closely spaced brackets. Mixing profiles can save money without compromising the heavier curtain — as long as both look tidy together.
